The adaptive-reuse plan involves the area surrounding the La Torraccia Villa complex. The plan was carried out in the extraordinary environmental conditions of a unique geographic, historic, and cultural area located at the southern edge of the Town of Fiesole at its border with the City of Florence. The rebuilding project for the Torraccia area was conceived as an expansion of the existing site in order to create a new “Fiesole Music Park.” The new Educational Center includes:

• the restructured Stipo Farmhouse and adjacent barn and related expansion of existing buildings;
• a new practice room and classrooms;
• an open-air theater;
• new parking structures;
• a new library and archives.
